Get closer to the Andean soul this event at the American Indian Community House (AICH) and learn to sing a beautiful song while learning some basic vocabulary in Quechua or learn some basic steps of our Andean dances. Your hands can mold the clay to create an ocarina – a sweet sounding wind instrument. Or you can soar away just by using brushes and let your ideas be drenched with amazing colors. Express the Andean feeling by learning to breathe and to sing as in the festivals of our communities. Try creating a beautiful and unimaginable collage with colorful papers, make a sculpture with papier-mâché, or even learn some more about our Andean food by preparing a delicious and healthy meal using our ancient grain: Quinoa!
